Time Blur

INTRODUCTION

A unique and curious phenomenon today is the fleeting time and the desire to capture it. Accompanied with this is the phenomenon of the quick passing of days, months and years.

We can’t remember or link days between the past and the present and wonder how quickly time passes by.

In 2020, the COVID brain fog, a lingering combination of dementia like symptoms including confusion, memory loss and difficulty focusing became rampant. Technology does not allow Time Blur to Happen. Your phone shows images from “This Year That Time”, “Then & Now”, images from the past – and it’s a comparison with the present. It is the most accurate visual depiction of what was and what is. What it cannot do is tell the future. Here lie the domains of astrology and religion, which again is now at your fingertips and gives you a notification via apps if you subscribe for it. Example – Ganesha Speaks or AstroSage.

Arvind could not find a selfie he took with the frontman of the metal band Children of Bodom, Alexi Laiho. He got the news of his passing away and looked into his facebook archives and was glad to find that photograph from 12 years back. If it wasn’t for the digital archives, this would be a fading distant memory without proof.
